Afternoon Tea At Hanbury Manor

This afternoon the Hertfordshire Ladies indulged in a spot of Afternoon Tea at the lovely Hanbury Manor.  Tea, cake, oodles of calories and as usual much chatter & laughter

We had a really fun afternoon.  Not too sure it would be appropriate to share the finer details of our conversations :-)  Haha, maybe it will be a watch this space moment!!  Naughty girls, encouraging naughtiness.

I love spending time with these ladies, we have such a great time.  Who'd have thought that less than a year ago none of us knew each other.  I am so glad they all joined Hertfordshire Social Stuff.

Can't wait for our Friday night drinks next weekend, its going to be a lot of fun, and there is now a big group of us going out.  Watch out Hertford!!

Right I'm off to bed, I have to get up and run tomorrow to burn off all the cake calories from this afternoon.  Maybe next time I should arrange a Hertfordshire Sporty Stuff run the morning after Afternoon Tea, so I don't have to suffer alone!!

Winter Walk & Lunch

What a lovely Sunday, a long walk with friends, and a yummy lunch.  We met up at Broxbourne station and started our walk along the river towards Dobbs Weir.  It was just us girls walking so it was non stop natter and chatter.

We met up with Danny, James and Mike at The Fish & Eels, had a lovely lunch and shared much laughter.  It was great that James could join us as he has moved up to Cambridgeshire now, but clearly can't stay away from us :-)


We had a rather long 2 hour lunch stop and then had to start walking again.  It was the third time I'd done the walk, and I think the only time we'd actually followed the instructions properly!  It was very amusing as we had no idea where we were going, it was a magical mystery tour!  We even found ourselves in ......

ESSEX!!!

But we found our way back to Herts again just up the road :-)

We had a lovely day, it was great to see so many of the group.  Everyone got on so well, thats what always amazes me at our events, everyone just gets on, it just works so well.  We are so so lucky that such lovely people sign up and come along.

New Members Brunch

Come along and join us for a new and non members brunch on Saturday. A great way to meet other newbies and to find out what Hertfordshire Social Stuff is all about. 

We've hosted new members events previously and had a great turn out.

This event is also open to members who have not been to an event for a while and feel a bit like a newbie :-)

Happy New Year Everyone, lets make it a good one.

New Year is all about making resolutions and for most people breaking them the very next day, although some may last a little longer.

To get a better social life?    To have a fun filled 2012?  Hertfordshire Social Stuff can help you will all of those.  We have a great group of people, with some really wonderful events planned for 2012.  Hertfordshire Social Stuff is a fabulous way to meet new people across the county to socialise with.
